太平洋水泥收购RMC美国Arizona业务

　　日本Keizai Shimbun报道，日本最大的水泥制造公司太平洋水泥公司，将花费17亿日元购买英国混凝土ＲＭＣ集团在美国亚利桑那州的业务。这项交易将通过太平洋水泥的在美国的子公司执行，今年年底可完成。 据中国水泥网了解，太平洋水泥公司通过在1990年10月收购加利福尼亚波特兰水泥公司扩大其在美国的产能，公司期望通过收购RMC集团亚利桑那州业务使其在美国的销售额增加一亿美金，2004财年公司在美国的销售额使4.22亿。

Taiheiyo Cement Corp, Japan's largest cement manufacturer, will

spend about 1.7 bln yen to acquire the ready-mixed concrete and aggregate

operations that RMC Group Plc of the UK runs in the US state of Arizona, the

Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported, without citing sources.

The deal, which will be completed by year-end through its US subsidiary, will

allow Taiheiyo Cement to produce in the US everything from cement and ready-

mixed concrete to aggregate, the business daily said.

Taiheiyo Cement expanded into cement production in the US by acquiring

California Portland Cement Co in October 1990, it said.

The company expects the acquisition of RMC's Arizona operations to boost its US

unit's sales by some 100 mln usd from the 422 mln it generated in fiscal 2004.
