墨西哥2005年水泥产量将增加3.5%

　　据中国水泥网了解，2004年一到八月，墨西哥水泥产量是2，220万吨，比去年同期增加3.2%，预计未来的几个月，水泥增长速度还将加快。

　　经济学家们估计由于出口量增加，墨西哥今年的经济将增长4%，明年约3.7%。经济的复苏使就业率增加，同时也使工业部门最重要住宅建设日益繁荣。

Mexico cement output seen rising 3.5 pct in 2005

 Mexico's cement output will grow about 3.5 percent in 2005, slightly down from the 4.0 percent expected this year, the country's main industry group said on Friday. 

"The cement industry is closely linked to the performance of the economy. We expect to grow around 3.5 percent, in line with growth in Mexican gross domestic product for 2005," Osmin Rendon, director of the National Cement Chamber (Canacem). 

Cement production totaled 22.2 million tonnes in January to August of 2004, up 3.2 percent from the same period last year, and growth is expected to accelerate in the last months of the year. 

Economists polled by the central bank expect the economy to grow 4 percent this year, spurred on by strong exports, and around 3.7 percent next year. 

"The economy is recovering and this enables a gradual recovery in employment. That boosts house-building, which is the most important sector in the industry," Rendon said.
