菲律宾2005年水泥价格上涨

　　菲律宾水泥工业部门说水泥零售价格的上升主要是因为燃料价格上涨，水泥运输成本增加。

Cement prices grow in the Philippines since January

Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Juan B. Santos said cement prices have started to post significant increases recently. The DTI has been cooperating with its regional and provincial offices to monitor trends in cement prices in order to respond to any unusual price increases. 

* The average retail prices of gray Portland cement for the period March 1-11 2005 grew by 0.29 per cent from P158.05 (US$2.92) to P158.51 per 40-kilogram bag compared to the fourth week of February 2005. 

* The cement industry said that the increase in the retail prices of cement since January was due to the higher cost of transportation following a series of fuel price hikes.
